Kickoff to Senior Year | Class of 2027 Senior Photos on Lido Beach
There is something so special about the beginning of senior year. So much excitement, so many traditions, and an entire year of lasts and firsts still ahead! Every summer, I celebrate that moment with one of my very favorite traditions — my Kickoff to Senior Year beach session for my upcoming seniors.
This year, we welcomed the Class of 2027 with the most beautiful evening on Lido Beach in Sarasota, Florida. Golden summer light, sandy toes, flowing dresses, lots of laughs, and some of the sweetest girls made it the perfect way to officially begin all things SENIOR!!
And this year’s session was especially meaningful to me because my own daughter is a senior! Ahhh where does the time go!
I have known many of these girls since elementary school… I have watched them grow up, photographed so many milestones along the way, and suddenly here they are — starting their senior year. Being behind my camera and looking at this group of beautiful young women, knowing how much life is ahead of them, was one of those moments that makes me realize all over again how lucky I am to do what I do!!!
Congratulations to this year’s seniors!!! Class of 2027!!! Let’s go make some memories!!!

While we’re soaking up these last beautiful days of summer, fall family portrait season is already right around the corner! October and November are always two of my busiest months of the year, and my calendar is already filling quickly.

I absolutely love photographing families here in Sarasota, Florida — whether it’s barefoot on one of our beautiful beaches in that gorgeous golden light or at another favorite Sarasota location. These photographs become the ones we frame for your home, use for holiday cards, give to grandparents, and look back on years from now wondering how everyone grew up quite so fast.
