There’s something magical about photographing high school seniors on the beach at golden hour — especially when you combine dreamy boho styling, driftwood-lined shores, warm coastal light, and an incredible group of seniors who fully embrace the experience. This year’s BoHo Beach Senior Session was one of my favorite shoots yet, and I’m still completely obsessed with how everything came together.
As a Sarasota, Florida high school senior photographer, I love creating senior sessions that feel fun, stylish, authentic, and unforgettable. This annual BoHo Beach shoot with the Class of 2026 brought all of that and more.
A Dreamy BoHo Beach Shoot in Sarasota, Florida
Our location looked like something straight out of a deserted island dream. Between the weathered driftwood, soft sand, sea oats, and glowing sunset skies, every detail created the perfect backdrop for these seniors. The golden light wrapped around everyone beautifully and gave the entire session that warm, carefree coastal feel Florida beaches are known for.
The girls absolutely nailed the boho aesthetic with flowy dresses, layered jewelry, neutral tones, wide-brim hats, textured fabrics, and effortless beachy waves. Every outfit complemented the natural surroundings perfectly and made the session feel editorial while still relaxed and fun.
These are the kinds of senior sessions that feel less like posing for photos and more like making memories with friends.
Why I Love Photographing High School Seniors
I’ve had the joy of working with many of these seniors throughout the year, and watching their confidence grow in front of the camera has been so rewarding. The Class of 2026 has been such a fun, kind, energetic group, and this shoot truly reflected their personalities.
