Downtown Sarasota is one of my favorite locations for senior portraits, and photographing Amaiya there was such a joy. The mix of modern architecture, palm-lined streets, colorful murals, and hidden alleyways creates endless opportunities for unique and stylish images.
Amaiya brought such a calm, confident energy to her session. She loves theater in school so it was really fun to get to hear about her performances. As we walked through Downtown Sarasota, we found beautiful textured walls, elegant staircases, and soft shaded corners that framed her perfectly. The city vibe gave her photos a polished, editorial feel while still keeping everything fun and relaxed.
Amaiya absolutely shined in this setting, and it was so nice getting to explore these spots together while celebrating such a big milestone in her life.
After downtown, we headed to one of Sarasota’s stunning beaches to catch the golden hour light — and it did not disappoint.
There’s something magical about photographing high school seniors on the shore in Sarasota, Florida especially on Lido Key! The soft sand, gentle waves, and warm Gulf breeze create the most relaxed and dreamy atmosphere. As the sun began to lower, the sky filled with warm golden tones that wrapped Amaiya in the most flattering, glowing light.
Amaiya walked along the shoreline as the sun dipped lower, and the golden light created the most breathtaking glow around her. These are the kinds of senior photos that feel timeless — natural, radiant, and full of joy.
