this was probably one of the most refreshing shoots I’ve had! Makes me so thankful for my job…
I had the pleasure/honor of photographing this beautiful family this past Sunday. They put the “F” in FAMILY! It’s not everyday that you see a family so fun and so close and so happy to be around eachother…! The grandmother/mother Dolly called me Saturday in a panic … Sunday was the only day that each of her Grandchildren & children would ALL be together… and some of them never had met before. Even her twin sister flew all the way from the Philippines which was where they were from. I knew I soooooo wanted to do this shoot as I love to capture these special memorable days! Even though I had a shoot early Sunday I didn’t mind that my arm may be sore near the end of the day.. I’LL DO IT! I’m glad I did! They took me in as part of the family! I got to try some of the traditional foods…. they all dressed up in the native attire all the way from The Philippines! It was so wonderful, we were having so much fun!! They looked so beautiful! What wonderful happy smiles you all have! Such a beautiful family! I hope there are more people like you in this world! (ps. Thank You Dolly for the beautiful pink silk cloth… that was so sweet of you!)
